Will there be queues?
First up, we have a lot more people this year, so we ask you to have some patience - but we feel that we solved the worst of the queueing last year, when we added more lanes at the entry gates.  - Also, follow the clear rules on prohibited items, and queues should move fairly swiftly (Prohibited items are glass objects, knives and weapons.)

Prohibited items are glass objects, knives and weapons.

How do I get to Donington?
Check out our TRAVEL PAGE where all forms of transport to Donington are detailed!

Will there be coaches from train and airports?
There will be shuttle buses from Derby and Loughborough stations.

If I'm being dropped off - where are the drop off and pick-up points?
There will be a designated pick up and drop off point at the race circuit. This will be located just inside the main entrance to the race circuit itself and will be well sign posted for the event
This is located near both the campsite entrance and the day entrance.

Will the parking be near to the campsite?
From the car park, there will be a long walk to the campsite, it is the nature of Donington race track – it’s a big, spread-out site… so don’t bring more than you can carry

Car parking will now be across the A453. We have built a pedestrian bridge over the A453 for improved site access. We have tried to lessen the strain on you by laying on shuttle buses which will transfer you onto the site, but remember, there will still be a LONG WALK, be prepared.

What should I bring with me?
Bring: Tent, Sleeping Bag, Torch, Toilet Paper, Hat, Waterproofs, Wellies, Sun Cream
Don't Bring: Glass, Knives, Weapons

There is a pharmacy in the village. There will be plenty of toilet facilities which are regularly cleaned. There will be hot showers and lockers (sold out). Also plenty of free water points for you to fill up a plastic bottle at. There is a disabled viewing platform for the Main Stage, Second and Third stage and disabled toilets on site. All of this is listed in our GENERAL INFO page and in our CAMPING section.

Will there be a Kerrang Club again - if so what is the age limit to get in?

How much various tickets cost, where you can buy them from?

Do I have to get a camping ticket if I am planning on going to both days of the festival?
YES!
Unless you live nearby and are planning to go home each night, or you have loads of money and chauffer driven car to take you to a hotel every night!!

Will Campfires be allowed?
Absolutely not.
Check out our page on CAMPING for what’s cool and what’s not.

Can we bring a throw-away BBQ?
Yes, Disposable BBQs and Portable Gas Camping Stove Devices will be allowed. There is a full list of what’s allowed and what’s banned, both from the campsites and the arena. Please stick to this list and use your common sense. People bringing Axes or Blow-torches will just help to cause queues, which are a nightmare for everyone.

Full details of what’s allowed on the campsite in CAMPING pages

Will there be plenty of showers to use and Clean Toilets ?
Will the toilets be cleaned regularly ?

There will be hot showers available on the campsite. At peak times these may get busy, but
everyone should be able to have a shower over the weekend.

Rest assured there will be plenty of toilets and they will be cleaned regularly.

Look at our GENERAL INFO page What to bring / what not to bring
Also look at our CAMPING section what to bring / what not to bring

Yes you can. but GLASS is not allowed. So beers must be in cans, and if you’re really posh , wine must be in a wine-box

Will everyone get searched - if so what are you allowed to take in?
Most people will have a quick search made by security. Use your loaf, be sensible - do not
bring in glass or weapons! - and that way we should avoid any unnecessary queuing!
Please also note that there will be police sniffer dogs onsite to help us identify people who are trying to bring drugs into the festival.  So be warned.

Can you take your own water bottles in?
Of course you are! – as long as the bottles are PLASTIC, not glass!

Can you have drink on the campsite?
Yes, you can bring your own drinks (no glass containers) or you can buy drink from one of the campsite shops or bars.
