Just ONE campsite this year, improved facilities for all
In previous years there was confusion over different “levels” of the camping ticket – so as last year, this year, there’s just ONE category campsite, with access to hot showers. Parking is available for pre-purchase and also on arrival.

You MUST book a camping ticket to Camp!!
Tickets can be bought for the weekend without camping, these are for people who live nearby and travel in each day, or are staying at a nearby hotel. Rogue Camping will NOT be tolerated. You will only be allowed onto the campsite if you have bought a camping ticket. You have been warned!

It’s a 3-day festival this year, with access to the campsite from as early as midday on the Wednesday (see opening times below). Buying a camping ticket gives you access to the campsite for one night, or for 5 full nights (arriving Wednesday, leaving Monday). The price is the same however long you stay.  Now sold out.

More fun at the campsite - – The Village
Download 2006 welcomes The Village a 24hr area of afterhours entertainment. Showing the best in new and cult films, the SNICKERS Get On With It Zone, our nightly cabaret ‘Download Discharge’ and a whole host of other weird and wonderful stuff to pass the time!

Camping – General Points

Essential equipment if you’re camping:

Don’t forget: Any anti-histamines or inhaler if you need to use it regularly
Tell your friends of any allergies you have.

Bring clothing for all weathers hot / cold / dry / wet

There is an off sales shop onsite, loads of catering units, a campsite shop with all your camping needs, and a Pharmacy so if you cant be bothered to carry things they will be available for you onsite! Go to and you can buy a camping kit

If you are bringing a carry out to the campsite make sure it's all cans or plastic - no glass.

No rogue camping, parking or fires
We want to come back next year, so, anyone found on private property, pitching their tent or making what seems like a crafty shortcut, will be dealt with by the authorities ­ and you won't get any sympathy from us! Use our campsite and our car parks ­ that way, you won't have your car impounded or tent removed!

Camping Area Ticket access details
All one campsite this year making it easier to hook up with friends at the end of the night. We’ll be providing as many hot showers as possible. Please be aware that there will be high demand at peak periods, eg first thing each morning … And please leave toilets and showers as you would like to find them!

What you’re allowed to bring in to the campsite

NOT ALLOWED

- Seriously, be sensible about what you bring – not only is it dangerous to bring in glass and knives, but the searching and subsequent confiscations will slow down entrance queues.

Campsite Safety
Only festival campers are allowed in the campsite ­ it will be lit at night and patrolled by security staff. Don't leave anything of value in your tent and postcode your camping gear If you see anything suspicious or something happens to you, don't be afraid of reporting it to a steward. The usual Fire lanes will be strictly applied.

Campsite Shops and Refreshments
The campsite will have off-licences and food stalls open all weekend, so no need to bring supplies, unless you like carrying them! (or you want to buy them in advance, to collect onsite, go to…). Plus this year, a campsite supermarket.

Coming and Going - passes and pass-outs
Weekend tickets get weekend wristbands.
Nice and simple - One wristband for people who have bought weekend tickets plus camping.
